Skin patch tested to ease chemo sickness in transplant patients

NCT ID NCT04150614

Summary

This study aims to see if a nausea-preventing skin patch works as well as a standard IV drug for patients getting a stem cell transplant. About 90 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the patch or the IV medication alongside their chemotherapy. The main goal is to compare how well each method prevents vomiting and the need for extra nausea medicine in the first 24 hours after chemo.
