Summary
This study tested whether watching nature scenes through a virtual reality headset can improve mood, reduce anxiety, and sharpen thinking in older adults who have trouble getting outdoors. Thirty adults aged 60 to 90 took part. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost approach could bring some of the mental health benefits of real nature to people who are homebound or live in cities.
