Could a pineapple enzyme pill soothe prostate pain?

NCT ID NCT04252625

Summary

This study tested whether a dietary supplement called Q-Urol could reduce painful inflammation in the prostate after radiation treatment for cancer. Men who had recently undergone a radiation seed implant were randomly assigned to take either the supplement or a placebo pill for six weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, urinary symptoms, and quality of life using questionnaires to see if the supplement helped.
