Summary
This study is testing a natural protein implant as an alternative to traditional bone grafts in spinal fusion surgery. It will follow 100 adults with severe lower back pain from degenerative disc disease who have already had the surgery. The main goal is to see how well the implant helps the bones grow together and fuse solidly over one to two years.
