New study tracks rare disease SCA7 to uncover clues for future treatments

Summary
This study follows 25 people with spinocerebellar ataxia type 7 (SCA7) for up to 5 years to learn how the disease changes vision, coordination, and thinking. Participants will have yearly eye exams, brain scans, and neurological tests. No treatment is given; the goal is to gather data that could help design future therapies.
