First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026

Summary

This study tested a nasal spray painkiller (sufentanil) for adults having a sickle cell pain crisis. The goal was to see if it relieved severe pain faster than the standard gas treatment (EMONO), before both groups received morphine. The trial was stopped early, so results are limited.
