Summary
This study is testing whether a single dose of insulin delivered as a nasal spray can help people with alcohol use disorder. Researchers want to see if the spray is safe and if it reduces cravings or the desire to drink when people are around alcohol. The study involves 40 adults who will receive either the insulin spray or a placebo spray in a controlled bar lab setting.
