New drug combo aims to shrink sinus tumors, save eyes and face

NCT ID NCT00707473

Summary

This study is testing a three-drug chemotherapy combination for people with advanced cancers in the nasal cavity or sinuses who haven't had treatment yet. The goal is to see if these drugs can shrink the tumors enough to improve the success of follow-up radiation or surgery, and to help preserve nearby organs like the eyes. Researchers will track how well the treatment works and its side effects over several years.
