Summary

This study compares two sedative drugs given as a nasal spray—midazolam and dexmedetomidine—to see which works better for sedation during surgery to fix a broken jaw. It involves 32 adults aged 18-50 who need surgery for a lower jaw fracture. The goal is to find which drug provides safer and more effective sedation with fewer side effects on blood pressure and heart rate.
