NCT ID NCT04044534

Summary

This study is testing whether insulin, a hormone usually used for diabetes, can help reduce symptoms of PTSD when delivered as a nasal spray. It will involve about 20 adults diagnosed with PTSD to see if the treatment lowers their symptom scores and calms overactive brain areas linked to fear.
