Computer-Guided thin implants tested for smile gaps

NCT ID NCT06528587

Summary

This study tested a simpler approach for replacing a single missing tooth in a visible area of the mouth. Researchers used thin dental implants placed with computer guidance in 17 patients who had narrow jawbones or small spaces. The goal was to see if this method could avoid more complex bone graft surgeries while maintaining good long-term results for bone health, gum tissue, and appearance.
