Summary

This study tests whether naringenin, a natural compound found in grapefruit and other citrus fruits, can help broken leg bones heal faster and reduce inflammation. Researchers will give naringenin supplements to 70 adults who have had surgery for a lower-limb fracture. They will measure bone fusion speed, inflammatory markers, and disability over time.
