First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a new extended-release sodium oxybate taken as a single dose at bedtime for children with narcolepsy type 1. The goal is to see if children prefer this once-nightly option over current twice-nightly oxybate medicines, and to check its safety and how well it controls symptoms like daytime sleepiness. About 36 children will take part at Stanford Sleep Clinic.
