Needle-Sized sensor could revolutionize diagnosis of rare muscle diseases
NCT ID NCT04086329
Summary
This study is testing a new, tiny sensor designed to measure oxygen levels inside muscle tissue. Researchers want to see if it can reliably tell the difference between healthy people and those with mitochondrial myopathy, a rare muscle disease. The goal is to create a better tool to help diagnose the disease and measure how well future treatments work.
