Summary
This study tests a portable DNA analyzer (Nanopore MinION) to quickly identify bacteria or fungi causing endophthalmitis, a severe eye infection. Researchers will compare the new method with standard lab cultures using samples from 20 patients. If successful, this approach could speed up diagnosis and help doctors choose the right treatment sooner.
