Summary
This study tests a new form of the drug megestrol acetate (nano-crystalline) combined with a standard anti-nausea medicine to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy. It involves 127 adults with stomach cancer who are starting their first chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this combination works better than the usual treatment with dexamethasone.
