NCT ID NCT06271668
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special alert in doctors' computer systems can increase the number of patients who get naloxone (a medicine that reverses opioid overdoses) along with their high-risk opioid prescriptions. Over 200,000 patients aged 12 to 89 who are prescribed opioids in hospitals or clinics will be included. The goal is to see if the alert helps prevent future overdoses.
