Can a Four-Drug cocktail tame pancreatic cancer? a Real-World trial seeks answers
NCT ID NCT07723261
First seen Jul 23, 2026 · Last updated Jul 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study follows about 70 people with metastatic pancreatic cancer who are receiving NalIriFOx as their first treatment. Researchers are collecting real-world data to see how well the drug combination controls the disease and what side effects occur. The goal is to understand whether this regimen offers meaningful long-term benefits in everyday clinical practice.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- a combination of liposomal irinotecan, 5-fluorouracil, leucovorin, and oxaliplatin (NalIriFOx)
- What this could lead to
- If the data show strong real-world effectiveness, this could support NalIriFOx as a standard first-line option for metastatic pancreatic cancer.
- What could go wrong
- This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so results may be less definitive. Side effects from the chemotherapy combination can be significant.
