NCT ID NCT07471256
First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a new approach for people with a serious type of brain bleed (lobar hemorrhage). It combines a precise, image-guided surgery to drain the blood with a clot-busting drug called tenecteplase. The goal is to see if this combo helps more people regain the ability to walk independently within 6 months, compared to standard medical care alone. The trial will involve 636 adults with moderate-sized bleeds.
