Summary

This study tests a tablet called nalfurafine hydrochloride to treat severe itching in people on maintenance hemodialysis for chronic kidney disease. About 150 adults will take the tablet once daily for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in itching severity using a visual scale and track any side effects.
