Stanford tests best way to fix smashed fingernails

NCT ID NCT07388823

Summary

This study aims to find out if surgically repairing a damaged nail bed leads to better results than simply cleaning and bandaging the injury. Researchers will randomly assign 100 participants (ages 2+) with recent nail injuries to receive one of these two treatments. They will then compare outcomes like nail appearance, pain levels, and regrowth over time.
