First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether ornithine aspartic acid granules work as well as or better than silymarin capsules for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). 237 adults with NAFLD and high liver enzymes took one of the two treatments for a period. The main goal was to see if liver fat levels, measured by a special scan, returned to normal or dropped by at least 10%.
