First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people born with a low birth weight have a higher chance of developing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) as adults. Researchers will compare 250 low-birth-weight adults with 50 normal-birth-weight adults using liver scans and other health tests. The goal is to better understand this possible link and confirm earlier findings.
