Summary
This study is testing whether taking the supplement N-acetylcysteine (NAC) can make high-intensity interval training more effective for improving health in adults with overweight or obesity. Sixty participants will do a 12-week exercise program, with half also taking NAC pills and half taking a placebo. Researchers will measure changes in weight, body fat, fitness, and various blood markers related to inflammation and metabolism.
