New weight loss pill NA-931 tested in obesity trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental oral drug, NA-931, to see if it helps overweight or obese adults lose weight. Some participants will take NA-931 alone, others will take it with a standard weight-loss injection (tirzepatide), and some will receive a placebo. The study involves 224 men and women aged 18 to 80 and lasts 48 weeks, measuring changes in body weight, waist size, and fat mass.
