Summary

This study looks at whether N-Acetylcysteine (N-AC), a common supplement, can reduce symptoms like fatigue and pain in adults with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), a group of rare blood cancers. About 27 participants with essential thrombocythemia, polycythemia vera, or myelofibrosis will take N-AC for 8 weeks. The goal is to find the best dose that is safe and improves symptom scores.
