Web tool aims to empower women veterans in family planning talks with doctors

Summary
This study tested a web-based tool designed to help women Veterans prepare for conversations about their reproductive health during primary care visits. Researchers sent a link to the tool to half of the 465 participants before their appointment to see if it improved discussions about pregnancy goals and birth control choices. The goal was to see if using the tool led to more informed, confident, and patient-centered conversations with healthcare providers.
