Virtual reality training could revolutionize prosthetic learning for amputees
NCT ID NCT05888428
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual training system called MyoTrain helps people with arm amputations learn to control their prosthetic devices better. Sixteen participants will use either the MyoTrain system or standard training methods before receiving their actual prosthetic. Researchers will measure how well participants use their prosthetics in daily life, how long they wear them, and how satisfied they feel with their functionality.
