New virtual trainer aims to give amputees better control of bionic arms

Summary
This study tests a system called MyoTrain that helps people who have lost part of their arm learn to control a prosthetic hand using muscle signals. Sixteen participants will either use MyoTrain or standard mental practice before getting their prosthetic. The goal is to see if MyoTrain leads to better, more natural use of the device in daily life.
