Tear test could reveal why some Kids' eyesight worsens despite treatment
NCT ID NCT06647472
Summary
This study aims to understand why special overnight contact lenses (orthokeratology) slow nearsightedness progression better in some children than others. Researchers will analyze protein levels in the tears of 20 children who have used these lenses for at least six months. By comparing children with good and poor responses, they hope to find biological clues that could help improve future treatments.
