Glasses vs eye drops: the battle to stop Kids' vision from worsening
NCT ID NCT05062031
Summary
This study tests whether special DIMS eyeglass lenses work as well as atropine eye drops for slowing the progression of nearsightedness in children. Researchers will follow 242 children for two years, measuring changes in their eye length and vision. The goal is to see if the glasses can provide an effective alternative to daily eye drops, which can be hard for some families to use consistently.
