First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding a hands-on muscle relaxation technique (myofascial release) to standard core-strengthening exercises could help people with long-term neck pain. 45 adults with neck pain for at least 3 months took part in a 6-week program. The goal was to see if the combined approach improved balance, pain, neck movement, and daily function better than core exercises alone.
