New Hands-On therapy tested to ease chronic pain and curb opioid use
NCT ID NCT04261959
Summary
This study tested whether a hands-on therapy called myoActivation could help adults with chronic pain, especially those also struggling with opioid use. Researchers followed 41 patients from a community pain clinic to see if the therapy reduced their pain, improved their daily function, and lessened their need for pain medications over 24 weeks. The goal was to find a non-drug option to manage pain in a group that often has limited access to such care.
