First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking myo-inositol, a natural supplement, during pregnancy can help women with type 2 diabetes have healthier babies. The goal is to see if it reduces risks like early delivery or low birth weight. About 182 pregnant women will take the supplement alongside their usual diabetes care to gather data for a larger future trial.
