Summary

This study tested whether using a mobile app and a smartwatch can be a good alternative to standard physical therapy after hip or knee replacement surgery. Over 6,500 adults who had joint replacement surgery participated. The goal was to see if the app-based program could help people recover just as well or better than traditional therapy, while also reducing hospital readmissions.
