New drug duo tested in fight against stubborn blood cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dose of a new two-drug combination for multiple myeloma that has come back or stopped responding to other treatments. The trial combines an oral pill (iberdomide) that targets cancer cell proteins with an injected immunotherapy (teclistamab) that helps the immune system attack the cancer. Researchers will enroll about 26 adults who have already tried at least four other treatments to see if this combination is safe and tolerable.
