New combo therapy trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat skin cancer
NCT ID NCT05357794
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of a gentle, full-body radiation treatment and a targeted drug can help control mycosis fungoides, a type of skin lymphoma, in patients whose disease has come back or hasn't responded to other treatments. The trial will enroll about 30 adults to see how well the combination works and how safe it is over a year of treatment. Researchers will measure how many patients see their cancer shrink and how long the treatment keeps the disease under control.
