Short activity bursts may boost movement in stroke survivors
NCT ID NCT06597929
First seen Apr 29, 2026 ยท Last updated Apr 29, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether encouraging stroke survivors to do short, intense bursts of everyday activities (like brisk walking or climbing stairs) combined with health education could help them become more physically active. 36 adults aged 50 and older who had a stroke and lived at home took part. The goal was to see if this approach could increase their moderate-to-vigorous activity levels and improve leg strength.
