Summary
This study tested two simple, non-drug methods to reduce the pain of needle insertion for dialysis patients. 75 adults were split into three groups: one listened to calming music, another looked at a mirror showing their healthy arm, and a third received standard care. Researchers measured pain levels immediately after the procedure to see which technique worked better.
