Can music soothe the pain of sickle cell disease?

NCT ID NCT06853158

Summary

This study is testing whether music therapy is a practical way to help improve quality of life for teens and adults with sickle cell disease. Researchers will compare three different programs: in-person music therapy, a mix of in-person and virtual music therapy, and a standard health education program. The main goal is to see if running this type of study across multiple locations is feasible, by measuring things like how many people join, stay in the study, and complete the sessions.
