Soothing sounds: music therapy tested to ease lung cancer surgery pain

Summary

This study looks at whether listening to music can help lower distress and pain in people with suspected or confirmed lung cancer who are having a type of keyhole surgery. About 74 adults will take part. Researchers will measure changes in distress and pain levels, as well as stress hormone levels and the need for extra pain medicine.
