Can a daily dose of music ease the exhaustion of leukemia treatment?
NCT ID NCT06286332
Summary
This study tested whether listening to self-chosen music for 30 minutes daily could help reduce the severe fatigue experienced by adults with acute myeloid leukemia during their first round of chemotherapy. Over 21 days, researchers compared fatigue levels and certain blood test results between patients who received music therapy plus standard care and those who received standard care alone. The goal was to see if this simple, non-drug approach could improve patients' comfort and well-being during treatment.
