Healing harmonies: music may boost brain recovery in coma patients

Summary

This study looks at whether playing special music to people in a coma after a severe brain injury can help them recover thinking skills. About 35 adults will listen to music through headphones starting a few days after their injury. Researchers will compare their progress to similar patients from the past who did not get music therapy.
