Can a song wake a sleeping mind? music therapy tested on Brain-Injured children
NCT ID NCT07209657
Summary
This study aims to see if live music therapy helps children regain consciousness after a severe brain injury better than just listening to recorded music. Researchers will work with 10 hospitalized children, comparing their responses to live music, recorded music, and background noise over 10 days. They will also check on the children's recovery six months later and interview parents about their experiences to better understand how music can support healing.
