Scientists search for Music's healing power in Alzheimer's saliva

NCT ID NCT07306065

Summary

This study aims to find scientific proof for how music therapy helps people with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will test saliva samples from 60 adults, including some with Alzheimer's, before and after music sessions to look for changes in brain-related chemicals. The goal is to understand the biological reasons behind music therapy's benefits, not to provide a treatment or cure.
