First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a music session led by a therapist in the evening can help people with Alzheimer's disease fall asleep faster and behave more calmly. Researchers will track sleep and agitation in 48 older adults living in a special care unit. The goal is to find a drug-free way to ease sundowning—restlessness that often happens late in the day.
