Can music help beat addiction? major european trial seeks answers
NCT ID NCT07028983
Summary
This large international study is testing whether adding group music therapy to standard addiction treatment helps people with substance use disorders. It will compare two types of music-based activities—active music-making and music listening—against usual care alone. The main goal is to see if these weekly music sessions, led by trained therapists, reduce the overall severity of addiction one year later.
