First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested a combination of music, relaxation breathing, and muscle relaxation to help adults in Iraq feel less anxious about dental visits. 240 participants with dental anxiety were split into two groups: one received the calming techniques, the other did not. After three months, the researchers measured changes in anxiety levels to see if the approach worked.
