Summary
This study is testing whether listening to music before and during wound dressing changes can help reduce pain and improve healing for older adults with pressure injuries (bed sores). Researchers will compare care with and without music in 11 long-term care homes, using standard medical records to track pain levels and wound healing over time. The goal is to see if a simple, enjoyable addition to routine care can make the experience better for residents.
