Summary

This study is testing whether listening to music can help reduce anxiety and physical stress in people having outpatient surgery for the first time. Researchers will compare the effects of patients choosing their own music versus listening to standard classical music. They will measure anxiety levels, heart rate, and blood pressure before, during, and after the procedure.
